A visual record of flowers discovered across places, trails and seasons.

This journal is built around one relationship: place ↔ flower ↔ photograph ↔ journey. The places are the chapters, the flowers are the discoveries, the photographs are the memories, and the journeys are the stories that connect them.

The accuracy promise

• Dates & times are read from each photograph’s own metadata — never estimated.
• Species identifications are made by hand, with three honest states: confirmed, probable, or pending. Nothing is auto-identified. Nothing is guessed.
• GPS & elevation: the original photographs carry no GPS data. Where a map appears, it uses published, location-level coordinates and is labelled approximate.
• Botanical facts are kept separate from personal field notes, and are only written when they can be stood behind.
• Missing data stays visible — you will see “not recorded” rather than an invented value.

How it is made

The originals — 301 photographs and 16 short films, all from an iPhone 13 — are never modified. A private pipeline reads their metadata, generates optimised copies for the web, and a small editing interface lets the journal’s author name flowers, write notes, and arrange stories. The public pages you are reading are generated from that single source of truth.
