Caprifoliaceae · Confirmed identification

Himalayan Whorlflower

Morina longifolia

About this flower

Its flowers open white, then turn pink once pollinated — so the plant shows its own story. The stiff, spiny leaves look thistle-like, but it is not a thistle. One of the valley's most striking shapes on dry slopes.
